We are raising funds to send directly to Iraq in the wake of the economic sanctions, the bombings, and the war. We work with a women’s organization in Basra that will ensure the money will go where needed most.

Funds can be donated to the General Fund or to an area of your choice:

Education – schools, books, teachers

Healthcare – hospitals, medicine, medical supplies

Emergency Relief – food, blankets, clothing

Orphanages – children's programs

Awareness Raising – outreach

Self-Sufficiency – projects that promote autonomy, especially micro loans for small business development

The Whispers on the Wind Foundation is dedicated to achieving peace in our lifetime.

We support works in many of the avenues which can bring us closer to realizing peace now: diversity, economics, education, environmental protection, equality, justice, and sustainability. The Foundation is a volunteer organization. With the exception of a very small fiscal administration fee, 100% of your donation will go directly to the people of Iraq.
